Great news for Health Care provision in Brownsover: It’s really good news that progress is being made to start delivering primary care from Brownsover in January.

Personally and speaking on behalf of all Brownsover Councillors – I can’t wait to see the new centre opening for local patients!

Thanks again,

Cllr Claire Edwards (Newbold & Brownsover)

NHS Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has recently written to patients who are registered at Rugby Town Medical Centre, to make them aware of the change in Provider.

From 1 December 2018, Spirit Healthcare will be responsible for providing GP services for all patients currently registered with Rugby Town Medical Centre and who will be transferred to Brownsover Medical Centre.

Due to the delay in completing the new Brownsover Medical Centre these services will continue to be provided from 2a Lower Hillmorton Road, Rugby CV21 3SU until 25 January 2019. From 28 January 2019, these services will be provided from the new, purpose-built, Brownsover Medical Centre at Bow Fell, Brownsover, Rugby CV21 1SJ.

To reassure you, patients will still be able to access GP services up to and after 1st December as normal, and they do not need to do anything.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please email contactus@coventryrugbyccg.nhs.uk

Yours sincerely,
NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG
