Pleased to have worked with the BCA and Christchurch who then made a bid to the county councilor fund (thank you to County Councillor Jill) who issued a grant to the Brownsover Community Association for the community garden program to expand to the space owned by Listers Chemist.
There is a community plan of a bench system that we wish to employ to serve local workers. It’s not a council scheme, but a “social community scheme”, so it will need the love and care that local people who use the space can give it.
As a temporary installation, the BCA intends to install a system like this: with a view to moving it to a more permanent location when Listers require the use of their land. https://www.woodblocx.co.uk/…/garden-furniture-benches…
It is good to see all parties and local organizations working together for the good of the community.
Thanks. Cllr Jim Ellis
