One of our activists and a recent Borough Councillor in Newbold and Brownsover, Kieren Brown was subjected to a hate crime in Rugby town a few weeks ago. He has decided to step forward and report it to the police and Equip and the local newspapers picked up the story. As the Rugby Labour disability officer, Kieren is working hard to highlight issues and solutions to support those with disabilities to discuss with the Borough and County Councillors to be put some into action. He has also set up a support group called Rugby Resolve –
