Debbie Bannigan PPC awards cheque from local community to Rugby Foodbank
Rugby Community champions were delighted to present a cheque for £200 to Rugby Foodbank last night when they went to look at the new facilities on the Hope4 open day.

Rugby Labour members attended the Food festival and promoted Food blogger: Jack Munroe’s campaign on ‘Hunger in the UK’.
With Live demonstrations of cheap, but fun meals, members cooked using items from a very limited budget and offered them to the public to taste.
The members had a lovely time and it was great fun to take part in the festival too.
“The community response was amazing – the cake was delicious (and healthy) and very popular as was our Butternut soup.
The Bean Goulash wraps went down a storm too. Very easy to cook and cheap too.  We ran a free stall and gave out recipe cards from Jacks book. “, Said Jim Ellis
“We also ran a ‘pay it forward’ concept and through that, we raised £200.  The community, who gave very generously, was very encouraging.
It was a pleasure to deliver the cheque last night and also be shown around the newly refurbished Hope 4 facilities.” said Debbie Bannigan PPC
Attending – Hope 4 staff: Jonathan Vickers, Jim Ellis, PPC Debbie Bannigan.
